Tantrum over. She's a mush...I did this for 45 minutes straight once... she fell asleep from it and then got mad when I stopped 🖤
She wrecked her play pen while I was at work last night...then she pushed her playpen out really far to grab a roll of paper towels to destroy. Currently, she's throwing a tantrum until I give her head rubs , oh how I love her. ...there's food crumbs on top of her head, not sure how she managed that one lol.
Small example of what I come home to in the morning after a 12hr shift.
Trying to raise awareness with House Rabbit Society & other animal lovers out there in regards to the Tippah County Fair Animal Scramble. Organizers of the event release bunnies, calves, chickens, pigs, and goats into an arena and encourage young children to chase these animals and try to catch them. Not only do the organizer's handling practices put these animals at risk for injury or death, but having children with no understanding of proper animal care puts these helpless animals at risk. Bunnies are prey animals, and their instinct is to run from predators and any threats...which in this case is everyone at this event. Rabbits can easily have heart attacks and die just from being scared. They also have really fragile spines and can easily become paralyzed from improper handling, such as chasing them, grabbing them by their ears, and picking them up. Not a good day for the bunny fam. All the fire alarms were blasting louder than I've ever heard, and of course for no actual legitimate reason. All of the other buns are calm and eating, but I had to take Goat outside with me, in my pjs of course, since I was trying to sleep for work tonight. Since then, I've had her on my bed with me but she's traumatized that she even flinches when being pet , poor baby girl. If bunnies can get migraines she most certainly has one... I pray she still has all of her hearing and isn't freaking out because she can't hear 🖤 #anotherdayinphilly#smh
