Fred Couples - One of the most popular players in the history of the game. His long drives, smooth swing and easy going attitude won him millions of fans over the years. .
It's difficult to believe he's only a one-time major champion. Although he came very close to a second Green Jacket in 2006 when he put on a ball striking masterclass during his final round, but unfortunately didn't hole any putts. (watch Fred couples tee to green brilliance on YouTube)
Fred was born in Seattle, Washington. His grandparents immigrated from Italy and the family name was changed from "Coppola" to "Couples" & his mother was of Croatian descent.
Fred developed a loose rhythmic swing at an early age in order to keep up with the older boys. This was at Jefferson Park Golf Course. Fred then won a golf scholarship to the University of Houston.
Seemingly having it all. Fred has suffered from chronic back pain throughout his career. Not being able to practice for large periods of time! He's said that his back constantly twitches.
Fred is a golfing Icon. Someone that has inspired as many young golfers as anyone & to me possesses the most beautiful swing of all time.

Most people in our industry have never actually experienced DIVERSITY. They don't have enough of the dots to connect, they end up with very linear solutions. Solutions without a broad perspective on the problem.
The broader one's understanding of the human experience . . . the better design we will have." - Steve jobs

A Kibbutz in Israel. A kibbutz is a type of settlement which is unique to Israel. A collective community, traditionally based on agriculture. There are about 270 kibbutzim in Israel. Their factories and farms account for 9% of Israel's industrial output. People around the world can volunteer in a Kibbutz and get free stay and food and see the country that way. They're a lot of fun!
