This man makes me SO happy. I was gone all weekend, and @jzuiderveen will be gone all week. I so enjoy doing life with him, that I takes some wind out of my sails when we have to be apart. .
I was so happy we got to at least fit in a fun dinner date tonight before he had to head out. Being away from my very best friend in the world, helps me to better appreciate our moments together. .
I imagine that over years of marriage, it could get easy to simply live around each other and not really be experiencing each other and life as a team. John and I have no desire to ever hit that point. I'm choosing to see time apart as a blessing in disguise because it helps me refocus on what really matters in my life and release the pet peeves.
Honey, I hope I never take you for granted, and if I ever do, you have my permission to withhold coffee until I snap out of it.
To the greatest 6 months of my life & the knowledge that the best is yet to come So thankful that we get to live out our lives together, even if we can't be by each other's sides today. I love you Luke
Married Life, Day 280: I admit it, sometimes I get distracted and play on my phone while I'm supposed to be watching TV with Jordan. He gives me a hard time and I try to be better and live in the moment. Sometimes I fail...and sometimes I fail harder when we're watching shows in Spanish with subtitles. Here's how that goes:
JENN: Sure, we can watch Narcos tonight! - 20 minutes later Jenn looks up from her phone -
JORDAN: were you even paying attention?
JENN: Totally! I didn't miss much. Just have one quick question... Who's that guy, and why do they want to kill him, and where is he hiding, and isn't he on their side and where is that other guy I like?
