By far my favorite part of running is the opportunity to stand on the sidelines and cheer for others. So proud of these little for conquering their 8th state in Missoula, Montana yesterday. Despite nausea, a busted knee, a torn achilles, a fractured wing, and a local heat wave they stuck TOGETHER for the entire race and finished hand-in-hand for the very first time. I have never watched someone light up a crowd of strangers more than these two did yesterday. It was inspiring to witness their joy and get to place their medals around their necks at the finishline #run4rich#ducklingsrun50#runwildmissoula#missoulamarathon
Today's #GlobalRunningDay post is a shoutout to all those who have been there along the way, especially this year. Thanks for lacing up your sneakers next to mine, crafting motivational shamrocks, singing along on endless car rides, feeding me carbs, taking my picture on top of a mountain, or cheering my name from the sidelines.
